'CHi@' opening night was pretty awesome...
The opening night was pretty awesome. i was very pleased as a first time promoter of the outcome. Our ears were blessed and batterd by two up and coming Dj's; Kenny D & Richard Mitchell who were let free on the decks to play what the fuck they liked! And i can proudly say there both from birmingham.

The Dj's:
Kenny D an established DJ in Bristol claiming residency at Secret Sanchez, and spining the decks other events alike such as KoKo, Just Jack.. started us of with a perfect set playing very progressive, minimal and jackin' house, he set the crowd up and had them on there feet...

Towards the end of his set Kenny D was droppin tunes such as solid grooves "this is sick", and had the bar and terrace empty... (for those dummies, they were on the dance floor)

This was followed by Richard Mitchell, who by the end of the night left your ears ringing! due to the deliverance of some damn right naughty tracks inc. Richard Dinsdale's 'wallop' & soulwax (nite versions re-mix) 'crack'!

Richard Mitchell was responsible for those hard core music lovers, who didn't want to stop partying. Even the wimps were still boppin' as Ritchard went electro: but unpredictable as Richard is he put as massive smile on peoples face when he cheekly finished on 'rock the kasbar' by the clash.

overall the sets played by both Dj's left you weak at the knees and gurnin' for more! The response and feedback was unbelievable. legends!

Next time round:
The night has been moved to the first wednesday of every month instead of the last thursday due to the clash of KoKo another student house night which i am now apart of! plus my aim of the night was not to compete but to provide alternative music instead of this student cheese shit that everyone gets trapped into!!! also we notice that there is nothing happenin in Bristol on wednesdays! "so bobs your uncle".

The day change of the night and the fact that both of Bistols' university's students are back in town this time round, should lead to an even popular and slammin' night!!

please feel free to contact me via posts or CHi group forums, for guestlist entry!!!
peace out.
